Boat tour through the Sado River Estuary and along the coast of the Arrábida mountain range and Troia to observe the Sado Dolphins, the Bottlenose Dolphins—a friendly resident community of about thirty animals living at the river mouth, one of only three resident estuarine colonies in all of Europe.

NOTE: This group of Bottlenose Dolphins (the Sado Dolphins) are wild animals in their natural habitat. On each outing, at SadoArrábida, we make every effort to ensure their sighting, and our success rate is very high. If we are unable to spot them, you’ll receive a free voucher to join another tour for dolphin watching.

About Us
SadoArrábida is a recent brand created by the tourism entertainment company “A Cabana do Pai do Tomás”, founded in 1999.
Our staff has over 20 years of experience in Nature Tourism in Portugal. In fact, in the early 1990s, we were pioneers in introducing innovative initiatives of this type of tourism in our country, organizing, among many others, off-road tours in the protected areas of the Arrábida Natural Park (PNA) and the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve (RNES).
Currently, building on our accumulated experience, the scope of our work is broad, promoting all kinds of events in the fields of Entertainment, Environmental and Cultural Tourism, and Maritime Tourism, always following the highest and most demanding standards.
Imaginative programs of this kind, or purely recreational and social leisure activities, are available to fully satisfy those who seek us out.
We have also had great success with the customization of activities and events.
Our area of operation focuses on the region we are based in and specialize in (Sado/Arrábida: Setúbal, Tróia, Comporta and surroundings. From Cabo Espichel to Sines, from Sesimbra to Grândola, including Palmela and Alcácer do Sal. From the urbanity of Lisbon to the rurality of the Alentejo). Some of our programs also extend to other parts of the country.
